And the Adventure Begins…

I would like to start by first saying Thank you for coming to my page and reading my first blog post. The past year has been an incredible journey for me and with the help from my wife, I have embarked on this mission to share all my experiences and knowledge with anyone who is interested in metaphysics and spirituality. I realize that there is a larger plan that we are all a part of, but each one of us also has our own individual plans which we need to also be focused on. Everyone has their own unique experience, and I would like to point that one person’s experience is no better or worse than anyone else’s. We come here to learn, we come here to get know ourselves better and most of all we come here to experience love for ourselves and for others in its truest form. 

I would like to talk about how all of this started for me. I was lucky enough to have a twin brother and we were both very much so interested in the spiritual realm. As we grew older we both started to have our fair share of paranormal experiences. Both of us have encountered full body apparitions, we both would have what you would call “sleep paralysis” and we both have had many, many experiences with telepathic communication. There have been countless times where I was getting ready to say something, and he would just steal the words right out of my mouth by speaking the exact thoughts that were in my head – and I would do the same to him. Things like that happened often in our lives, so growing up I knew my brother and I had a connection that went beyond just sharing a womb and living under the same roof together. 

My brother and I eventually graduated from High-School and then we both enlisted in the military. Overall, I enjoyed my time in the service. I had a lot of great experiences, however I also look back and I can see where my time in the service led to me developing some mental disorders that I am still dealing with today. I saw and experienced things that led to me having night terrors. I did three tours in Iraq and Kuwait which would forever change who I was. I would wake up in the middle of the night screaming and sometimes hurting myself. At night I felt like I would get transported to another world where I would battle my inner demons. I felt like I was going insane. I had anxiety and I was depressed. I started to self-medicate using drugs and alcohol. This obviously was not a smart choice. It provided me with temporary relief, but it did much more damage in the long run. 

Despite all the challenges that I faced after my time in the military, I was still interested in metaphysics. For over 15 years I have studied the subject and got intimate with the material – but it wasn’t until about 2 years ago that I started to walk on the path of a spiritualist. I was in a low point in my journey. I felt like I was destroying all the relationships in my life and I was not being my best self. I was self-medicating and I was slowly tearing down everything I had worked so hard to build in my life. I knew I had PTSD and that it was affecting me or maybe causing me to act the way I did, but I could no longer use that as an excuse for my self-destructive behaviors. I had tried many different things over the years to try to find out what would save me and my relationship with my family. I felt like there was no hope. I then came across an article about hypnosis. The article talked about how hypnosis can help with just about any kind of problem that we experience mentally. A lightbulb went on in my head. I decided to try hypnosis to see if I could rewire my brain and fix my broken mind. 

After doing some research on the hypnotherapists in my area I came across one that had a spiritually focused hypnotherapy practice. At the first session I told her my story and I asked her to do whatever she could to help me with these issues, but most importantly, I asked her to open my third eye. I wanted to be able to see clearly. I wanted to be able to move forward in life and understand the truth that lies in everything. I wanted to see how my actions affected others. I wanted to be able to help people in my life, but I knew I wasn’t going to be able to help anyone until I was able to get through this storm that I was in. I don’t remember much from my hypnotherapy sessions. What I could remember certainly was interesting, but I could not remember what happened while I was “asleep”. Things didn’t change immediately after my sessions. It wasn’t until maybe 2 weeks after my last session is when I started noticing things. I started to get emotional at random times, it would just hit me out of nowhere. I would be driving in my car and then WHAM! I had the sudden urge to cry. It was this overwhelming feeling of love. It would come from my heart, chest and stomach. Then I started to notice what I was thinking about when these feelings would occur. I figured out what was triggering these feelings. I was being encouraged to clean up my life. I felt like I had this huge path laid out in front of me, but I could not embark down it until I completed the current lesson. I had to get clean, I had to build back trust, I had to learn to love all over again. That feeling kept coming to me as a reminder, a reminder to have faith and to keep focused on my recovery. I kept hearing “the best has yet to come” and “Keep going, you can do this”. I eventually submitted to this feeling and allowed it to guide me all the time. From there things have taken off like a rocket. I still get that overwhelming feeling of love, but now it is accompanied by a wide variety of signs. I know now that my angels, guides and ascended masters are the ones that are guiding me. They have always been guiding me, I just wasn’t paying attention, but I am now. Every day is a new opportunity to experience love. So much has happened in this short period of time since those hypnotherapy sessions. I am forever grateful for waking up and now it’s my mission to help others wake up shake away the fog that clouds their minds. It’s my goal to create this blog and share my experiences with anyone and everyone. I know where I am going – and I plan on taking as many people with me that are willing. We all have so much potential that is just waiting to be unlocked. Time to find the key.
